would really appreciate Christmas help Hi all-
My 6 year old stepson recently came to live with me (DH and I are seperated). He lived with us till Jan then moved with his bio mom when we seperated. He has been through a lot during the past year...when he came to me (moved 3 states away) he just brought the clothes on his back (the pants didn't even button). So, we pretty much started from scratch. I was able to get him some clothes and a couple toys...but that's about it. I have a decent job...but between rent, daycare and bills...there's not a whole lot left over for extras. I was able to save a little for Christmas....but then, as it always does, something came up....my car broke down, costing about $500 and a couple days later one of my crowns came out....costing about $300....there went the Christmas money plus some. I don't make a lot of money...but too much to qualify for any local Christmas programs. I'd be very appreciative of anything you could help with.
He's a big boy...wears size 10/12 tops and 12/14 (12husky are best)pants/shorts and size 3 shoes. He also uses Goodnites disposable underwear at night....those would be a huge help as well. He loves Power Rangers and mermaids (especially little mermaid stuff for the tub) He loves to draw/paint/do crafts and could use any educational type toys (is struggling with learning to read).
