Bio

I am a stay at home mom with four children and a husband. Before that, in addition to my domestic duties, I was an incredibly busy and successful businesswoman. In March 2005. I became very ill and had to leave my career. Since then I have tried all kinds of things to occupy my time. I heard about Favor List and wanted to get involved right away. I am looking forward to doing something for someone else and hopefully making friends on-line. A few favors coming my way wouldn't hurt either.

I've been told that I need to download a photo of the favors I give and receive. I don't have that capability right now. What would be an exceptable way to handle this in the future? :? Any advise is welcome. Deb

Needing Special Thoughts
I'm so sorry for what you're going through. Unfortunately, I know how you feel. I can say that with all honestly. In the last 6 months, I've lost a nephew, who lived in Riley Hospital all his life which was less than a year. Then I lost a neice 13 hours after she was born. I'm not trying to bring you down. The point to this story is that I have found that the dedication of the doctors and nurses that work with these children are just a special breed. My prayer to you is that these doctors will figure out what's up and correct it. I believe in The Big Guy above and I have the confidence that things will turn out the way they should. In the meantime, I will put you and your family in my prayers. Feel free to email me to vent or maybe you'd like a little something ? I'm here. God Bless You, Deb

I am unable to work due to becoming disabled
I was diagnosed with a heart condition that can't be treated, which ended with me having to leave my career. While dealing with that, I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia, CFS and IBS. This whole ordeal has taken quite a toll on my family. It has cut our income in half, while increasing our living expenses to cover the appointments and medications. One of the things the therapist keeps telling me is to learn how to ask and accept the help from others. My family could really use a huge lift spiritually and a healthy dose of happiness. We lost our home so items to cheer this new place up. I thought surprizes or baked goods would be nice too. I'm willing to do favors for anyone that needs something. I really am looking for a way to make a few smiles. When I was working I was always doing something for someone. I miss that. Can we help each other out? Thanks for listening, :( stayathomegoddess

:? I've still had no response to the favors I've offered to do. It's really frustrating. I still think that maybe I'm doing something wrong. I don't know how to assess points - maybe that's what's holding me back. I really am willing to give what I can toward this effort because I do believe in what it can become in the long run. Help me learn how to start!
I just joined this group and I'm very anxious to get started. I'm interested in meeting new people and doing something worthwhile with my time. I have an illness that keeps me from doing certain things, but there is still so much I can offer to others. I've worked all my life and I feel lost not doing anything during the day. Thanks for listening and helping me get started.
